Product Use & Safety

Expertwhite products are designed for cosmetic teeth whitening and use hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide in a variety of at-home whitening formats.

Always follow the directions provided with your specific Expertwhite product, including the recommended amount, application method and wear time.

General Use Guidelines

Use whitening products only as directed.

Avoid contact with gums, lips and other soft tissue. If excess whitening gel reaches the gums, remove it promptly.

Using more product or extending the recommended wear time will not necessarily improve your whitening experience. Follow the amount and timing specified for your product.

Do not swallow whitening gel. Keep products out of reach of children.

Whitening Gel + Trays

Place the recommended amount of whitening gel into your compatible whitening tray.

Insert the tray and gently position it over your teeth. Remove any excess gel that reaches the gums.

Wear for the time specified for your particular gel strength, then remove the tray and rinse your mouth and tray thoroughly.

Different Expertwhite gel concentrations have different recommended wear times. Always follow the directions for the specific product you are using.

Whitening Pen

Apply a thin layer of whitening gel to the front surface of the teeth using the brush-tip applicator, avoiding the gums and lips.

Follow the application and wear-time directions provided with the pen.

Whitening Strips

Apply Expertwhite whitening strips to clean, dry teeth and gently press them into position.

Wear for the recommended time, then remove and discard.

Follow the directions provided with THE STRIPS™ for frequency of use.

Prefilled Whitening Trays

Remove the prefilled trays from their packaging and position the upper and lower trays as directed.

Wear only for the recommended time for your specific product, then remove and discard.

Sensitivity & Irritation

Temporary sensitivity or gum irritation can occur with teeth-whitening products.

If you experience significant or persistent discomfort or irritation, discontinue use and seek advice from a qualified dental professional.

Before Using

Expertwhite whitening products are intended for adults and for use on natural teeth.

Whitening products do not change the color of crowns, veneers, fillings, bonding or other dental restorations.

Do not use a whitening product if its packaging or directions indicate that it is unsuitable for you.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an existing dental condition, dental restorations or other concerns about whether teeth whitening is appropriate for you, seek advice from a qualified dental professional before use.
